Disneyland Paris Resort

Disneyland Paris, located just outside the French capital, is a magical destination that combines the enchantment of Disney with European charm. Since opening its doors in 1992, the resort has captivated visitors of all ages with its iconic attractions, vibrant entertainment, and immersive themed lands. Whether you’re seeking thrilling rides, beloved characters, or unforgettable family memories, Disneyland Paris offers an experience like no other on the continent.

While it doesn’t necessarily have the same ‘Disney bubble’ feel or the gigantic scale that Walt Disney World in Florida does, or perhaps the level of service that the American parks provide, Disneyland Paris is still a fantastic destination and a great option for those based in Europe to get their Disney ‘fix’. Plus if you consider the developments currently underway resort-wide, particularly at the second Walt Disney Studios park, it’s an exciting time for Disneyland Paris.

We’ve included a full guide to the different aspects of the resort on the accompanying pages to help you make the most of your time and give you some tips.

On top of the two theme parks themselves, and literally sandwiched between the two, is the Disney Village, filled with loads of dining and shopping experiences. This plus the range of Disney hotels on offer do create a little ‘Disney bubble’, still within an easy train ride of central Paris. With all of this on offer you can easily come and enjoy a good few days in the Disney bubble and 2-3 night weekend stays are perfect here.

Likewise if you want to venture out more, or don’t have the budget to stay on-site with Disney, there are an abundance of hotels located just outside the resort and we’ve stayed at some of these hotels and Airbnbs many times. We’ve given an overview of all of the the Disney hotels and the Disney Village on the accompanying pages to help you plan your Disneyland Paris visit.
