Magic Kingdom Dining Guide

Magic Kingdom Dining Guide

Magic Kingdom has a really diverse array of dining experiences from quick snacks to immersive character meals!

We have put together the below guide to help you work out what dining options would suit you and your family.

Table Service

Magic Kingdom has 8 table service restaurants which are detailed below. Reservations are recommended for all of these and can be made up to 60 days in advance of your visit.

Cinderella’s Royal Table (Character Dining)

Located in Fantasyland, this restaurant lets you dine inside of Cinderella’s Castle with Disney Princesses on hand to pose for photos. Whilst eating here is one of the most expensive meals in a park, our children absolutely loved dining here when they were younger and it was always a must-do for us! They serve from a Prix Fixe Menu for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (prices start at $74 per adult for breakfast).

Be Our Guest

Located in Fantasyland, this restaurant lets you dine inside of the Beast’s Enchanted Castle where you may encounter the Beast himself if you dine there for dinner (although this isn’t guaranteed so isn’t classed as character dining). The 3 course menu features French-inspired dishes such as French Onion Soup and Escargot. They serve from a Prix Fixe Menu for Lunch and Dinner (prices start at $72 per adult for lunch).

The Crystal Palace (Character Dining)

Located at the top of Main Street, this buffet is served for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and features appearances from Winnie the Pooh and friends. We love this restaurant, it is reasonably priced for a character meal with all you can eat food (prices start at $52 per adult for breakfast). Our top tip is to get a reservation towards the end of the breakfast sitting so you can enjoy the breakfast foods (this is the only place in the park that serves up the famous Churro Mickey Waffles) and then also enjoy the lunch buffet offerings as well as they change over the foods!

Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen

Located in Adventureland, this restaurant is Jungle Cruise themed and is a great value option for a table service meal in the park. Meals start at $23 per adult and the menu is inspired by the bold and flavourful cuisine of Asia, South America and Africa. This is one of our favourites and we try to include this restaurant in most of our trips! There is some comedy involved too, with the servers telling jokes just like the skippers on Jungle Cruise!

Liberty Tree Tavern

Located in Liberty Square, this colonial-themed restaurant offers a family style Thanksgiving feast daily including food such as roasted turkey, pot roast and all of the traditional sides such as mashed potatoes and macaroni cheese. As part of the 3 course meal, the dessert is the famous Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake which is absolutely delicious! Lunch here starts at $44 per adult for the 3 courses.

The Diamond Horseshoe

Located in Liberty Square, this restaurant serves up exactly the same menu which is served at the Liberty Tree Tavern (at the same price - starting at $44 per adult for the 3 courses). We prefer the theming of the Liberty Tree Tavern but this is a good option to get your fix of that delicious Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake.

The Plaza Restaurant

Located on Main Street, this is a charming casual dining parlour serving up more casual options such as sandwiches, burgers, salads and classics such as banana splits. Meals start at $17 per adult.

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant

Located on Main Street, this Italian restaurant is inspired by Lady and the Tramp. Our top tip for this one is to time your reservation for when the parade will be happening and getting there early to request a window table. Whilst this is not guaranteed, if you are able to get this spot you will have a great view of the parade as it goes by. Prices here start at $26 per adult and specialities of course include the Lady and the Tramp inspired Spaghetti and meatballs.

Quick Service Dining

Quick service dining is a great option where you do not have to make a reservation ahead of time so you can decide what to do and where to go on the day. You can utilise mobile ordering at many of these spot via the app which reduces the time you will spend in a queue!

  • Casey’s Corner (Main Street) - Baseball-themed restaurant serving up delicious hot gods, corn dog nuggets and fries.

  • Columbia Harbour House (Liberty Square) -New England-style seafood dishes like clam chowder and lobster rolls.

  • Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café (Tomorrowland) - A great spot which always has lots offsetting and serves burgers and salads with entertainment from the animatronic alien Sonny Eclipse!

  • Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café (Frontierland) - Our favourite quick service food, serves up southwestern-inspired options such as tacos, nachos and fajitas and has a great toppings bar to add salad and sauces!

  • Pinocchio Village Haus (Fantasyland) - Serving Italian food such as pizza and pasta with tables overlooking ‘it’s a small world.’

  • The Friar’s Nook (Fantasyland) - Serves favourites such as gourmet mac and cheese and loaded tater tots.

  • The Lunching Pad (Tomorrowland) - Quick bites such as hot dogs and pretzels.

  • Sleepy Hollow (Liberty Square) - Known for it’s sweet and savoury waffles with filling such as chicken and fruit.

Some of the best food at Disney is always the snacks so here is some info on where to find your favourites:

  • Aloha Isle (Adventureland) - Home of the iconic Dole Whip, a pineapple soft-serve treat.
