Downtown Disney
Downtown Disney is the resort’s shopping, dining and entertainment district. This is much smaller than Disney Springs in Orlando, and perhaps even that in Disneyland Paris, but provides some nice options outside of the parks themselves. Often featuring live music and a lively atmosphere, it’s a great spot to get a break from the parks.
The district is pretty much sandwiched between the two parks and the hotels meaning it’s generally easily accessible and easy to stop by at any time of the day, even popping out for lunch or breakfast/dinner before/after a park day. You can also use the monorail to get around between here and the parks/hotels if you fancy saving those weary legs.
Entertainment: As we mentioned Downtown Disney often has live music, be it on one of the outdoor stages or within one of the restaurants like the Jazz Music Kitchen. As well as this there’s also a Splitsville if you fancy some bowling while you’re on holiday!
Dining: One of the main reasons for visiting the district is most likely to get something to eat and there are too many options to mention them all here. It’s safe to say though you’ll find something you fancy given everything on offer. The standout options for us are Napolini Pizzeria, Paseo, Centrico and Din Tai Fung, as well as plenty of quick-service and snack options.
Shopping: With a mix of Disney branded merchandise and more standard ‘high street’ shops there are plenty of shops here to keep you entertained. This includes Pandora, The Lego Store and Sephora which are complemented well by the more Disney orientated Pin Traders, Avengers Reserve, Disney Storyland Boutique and Disney Wonderful World of Sweets plus many more.
